Aaron Sporck

Mr. Aaron Sporck, Vice President, joined Huntington National Bank in September 2021, where he leads the bank’s Commercial Banking efforts in West Virginia. In this role, he oversees relationship management with businesses, health systems, universities, and government entities across the state.

Prior to joining Huntington, Mr. Sporck served in several senior staff roles for U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito. Most recently, he was based in West Virginia, advising the Senator on strategies to grow and diversify the state’s economy, supporting communities with federal tax incentives and grant funding, and working closely with the business community. Before returning to West Virginia, he spent fourteen years in Washington, D.C. as a key member of Senator Capito’s senior leadership team.

Mr. Sporck is active in civic and community leadership, serving on the boards of the Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences, Advantage Valley, and the West Virginia Independent Colleges and Universities. He also serves on the Vestry of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Charleston, West Virginia.

He is a graduate of Furman University and the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. A native West Virginian, Aaron resides in Charleston with his wife and two children.

Aaron Valentine

With nearly two decades of experience in technical and operational leadership roles within the metals manufacturing sector, Aaron Valentine serves as the Director of Operations for TIMET’s newest titanium melting facility in Millwood, West Virginia. In this role, Aaron is a key member of the TIMET leadership team, responsible for overseeing the construction, commissioning, and transition of the site into full active operation. He also leads the facility’s recruitment and training strategy, ensuring a highly skilled workforce is in place from day one.

A lifelong West Virginian, Aaron is deeply committed to advancing high-tech manufacturing opportunities across the state. He is passionate about building and retaining manufacturing capacity in West Virginia and preparing future generations to enter and excel in the manufacturing workforce.

Aaron resides in Fayette County with his wife and children, where they remain actively engaged in their community. He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Ocean & Aerospace Engineering, along with multiple technical certifications in metallurgy, reliability, continuous improvement, and leadership. He also serves on the board of Explore: the New Manufacturing and has contributed to several college advisory and supervisory boards.

Chris Beam

  • Title: FirstEnergy
  • Company: Vice President of Generation Project Development

Chris leads the strategy, planning, and execution of large-scale power generation projects for FirstEnergy, overseeing the development of both renewable and conventional energy assets to expand Mon Power and Potomac Edison’s generation portfolio and support future needs for reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable electricity. He joined the company on April 21, 2025.

Chris comes to FirstEnergy from American Electric Power (AEP), where he served as Executive Vice President and Senior Advisor, overseeing generation, transmission, supply chain, and other major operational areas. Over his 34-year tenure at AEP, he held a series of senior leadership roles—including Executive Vice President of Energy Service and President and Chief Operating Officer of Appalachian Power—gaining extensive experience across generation, distribution, and transmission operations. 

From November 2010 to January 2013, Chris served as Managing Director of Projects & Construction, leading project management for AEP’s western fleet, all new generating projects, and the commissioning and construction of major facilities. Notably, he played a central role in bringing the John W. Turk Jr. Coal Plant online—a 600-megawatt ultra-supercritical plant in Fulton, Arkansas, and the first of its kind in the United States when it began operations in 2012. 

Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in technical management from DeVry University. He also completed the Executive Program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, the AEP Management Development Program at The Ohio State University, and the AEP Leadership Program at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Libby Reasbeck

  • Title: Senior Manager, Government & External Affairs

Libby Reasbeck is the Senior Government & External Affairs Manager for Form Energy in West Virginia, a role she began in August 2023. She leads the company’s government relations and external engagement efforts across the state, with a focus on advancing energy innovation, community partnerships, and economic development.

Prior to joining Form Energy, Libby spent seven years serving Rep. David McKinley in what was then West Virginia’s 1st Congressional District, representing the northernmost 20 counties of the state. With a strong emphasis on energy and economic development, she traveled extensively throughout the district—working directly with manufacturers, energy providers, and businesses to identify shared challenges and support legislative solutions.

Libby has experience across the private, government, and nonprofit sectors and has served on numerous boards and committees in the Wheeling area, contributing to regional development and community advancement.

Markee Schindler

Markee Schindler is the Manager of Talent and Community Relations at Nucor Steel West Virginia.

She joined Nucor in 2022 as Talent and Community Relations Supervisor and quickly advanced into her current leadership role. 

Before joining Nucor, Markee served as Manager of Business Development for the West Virginia Department of Economic Development, where she helped support statewide growth, business recruitment, and workforce initiatives. 

Markee earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from West Virginia University. A proud West Virginia native, she and her husband, Kurt, are the proud parents of their daughter, Nora.
