Mr. Aaron Sporck, Vice President, joined Huntington National Bank in September 2021, where he leads the bank’s Commercial Banking efforts in West Virginia. In this role, he oversees relationship management with businesses, health systems, universities, and government entities across the state.
Prior to joining Huntington, Mr. Sporck served in several senior staff roles for U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito. Most recently, he was based in West Virginia, advising the Senator on strategies to grow and diversify the state’s economy, supporting communities with federal tax incentives and grant funding, and working closely with the business community. Before returning to West Virginia, he spent fourteen years in Washington, D.C. as a key member of Senator Capito’s senior leadership team.
Mr. Sporck is active in civic and community leadership, serving on the boards of the Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences, Advantage Valley, and the West Virginia Independent Colleges and Universities. He also serves on the Vestry of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Charleston, West Virginia.
He is a graduate of Furman University and the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. A native West Virginian, Aaron resides in Charleston with his wife and two children.
