Jeff Fritz

Jeff Fritz is the Director of Government Affairs at Chemours, leading state government advocacy nationwide for over a decade. He is passionate about collaborating with elected and appointed state leaders and industry colleagues to foster economic vitality.

Jeff previously served as Chairman of the American Chemistry Council State Government Affairs Committee and currently chairs its PFAS Work Group. He has held or holds positions on the Boards of Directors for organizations such as the West Virginia Manufacturers Association, West Virginia Chamber of Commerce, North Carolina Manufacturers Alliance, Chemistry Council of New Jersey, Ohio Manufacturers Association, Ohio Chemistry Technology Council, New Castle County (DE) Chamber of Commerce, Indiana Industrial Energy Consumers, and the Electricity Consumers Resource Council.

Jeff has been recognized with several prestigious honors, including the inaugural American Chemistry Council Patty Cardin Leadership Award, the West Virginia Manufacturers Association Champion of Industry, and the Ohio Manufacturers Association Babington Award for Extraordinary Volunteer Leadership.

Jeff and his wife, Carla, are parents to three adult children. They divide their time between homes in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Sarasota, Florida, enjoying time with family and friends.

Rob Nunley

  • Company: AVN Corporation

Rob Nunley is the Director of Engineering & Technology Services at AVN Corporation in South Charleston, West Virginia. In this role, Rob oversees the Chemical Technologies Group, the Health, Safety, Environmental, and Security group, and other centralized support functions within the company. Previously, he served as the Director of Manufacturing and Pilot Plant Manager at AVN.

With over 32 years of experience in the chemical industry, Rob has held diverse roles, including process design and development engineer, project manager, plant improvement engineer, manufacturing engineer, and production coordinator. Prior to joining AVN/MATRIC, he worked at The Dow Chemical Company and Union Carbide Corporation.

Rob is actively involved in professional organizations such as the West Virginia Manufacturers Association, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and the Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates. He also engages with the South Charleston Community Advisory Panel and volunteers with local schools to promote STEM education.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Science from Marshall University Graduate College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rochester.

Summer Bolen

Summer Bolen is a 4T Academy/Manufacturing Production student at Ben Franklin Career Center. She is passionate about inspiring younger students and shares her journey to encourage others to consider careers in manufacturing. Outside of school, Summer enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and going on long drives. Her two older brothers, her biggest supporters, inspired her to take the leap into her journey with the 4T Academy.

Markee Schindler

  • Company: Nucor Steel West Virginia

Markee Schindler became the Manager of Talent and Community Relations for Nucor Steel West Virginia on February 4, 2024. Markee initially joined Nucor in October 2022 as a Talent and Community Relations Supervisor. Prior to joining Nucor, she served as a Manager of Business Development with the West Virginia Department of Economic Development, where she was part of the team that helped bring Nucor to West Virginia.

Markee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from West Virginia University. A West Virginia native, she is married to her husband, Kurt, and they are the proud parents of their daughter, Nora Clare.

Josie Godbey

Josie Godbey is a 4T Academy/Manufacturing Production student at Ben Franklin Career Center. In the 4T Academy Simulated Workplace, Josie serves as a Group Leader, taking on responsibilities within the program’s hands-on learning environment. Outside of school, she works at Goodwill and enjoys working on cars, as well as any activities that keep her outdoors and active.
