A native and lifelong West Virginian, Maribeth Anderson serves as the Director of Government Relations for Antero Resources, the state’s largest producer of natural gas. She joined Antero at the end of 2017 after holding similar government relations roles with West Virginia natural gas producers since 2007. Before entering the energy sector, Maribeth spent several years in journalism, serving as News Director for WSAZ Television.
Maribeth currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce. She is a past President of the Board of Directors for the Gas and Oil Association of West Virginia (GO-WV) and has held industry leadership positions across four states. She is also the former Board Chair of the Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce and presently serves on the West Virginia Manufacturers Association Board of Directors.
A Yeager Scholar and graduate of Marshall University, Maribeth holds degrees in Journalism and Economics. She lives in Huntington with her husband and is the proud mother of two grown children.
